Student Orientation

Valkyrie Vision (Summer Orientation)

Ease into college life with our day-long orientation covering everything from in-depth campus tours (including residence halls!) to financial aid questions, to how to gain the most from your time at Converse. Get to know fellow students, staff and faculty, make connections with student leaders and begin your course registration process. Registration and more information can be found on My.Converse.

Welcome Weekend

Each fall, we welcome new Freshmen and Transfers to Converse with an all-hands-on-deck move-in day and brief Orientation. Move-in days and details found on My.Converse.

First-Generation Orientation

If you are planning to participate in the First-Generation Student Program, you are highly encouraged to attend the First-Generation Orientation. This is a pre-orientation that takes place one day before first-year orientation. It is a one-day orientation where students and parents are able to attend helpful sessions on how to be successful at Converse. It is a great time to get connected with the staff and learn about all the available resources.
